A perfect Sunday afternoon

Our week-end, up until this afternoon, has been bursting with activity. Friday night dinner out with friends, ringette, hockey games, visit from out of town cousins, afternoon coffee with my good friend Karen and her girls, then a night of fun and sleepovers with our children plus four more. That's eight kids. Before you think us crazy, though, you can read here to read about how nice it can be when you get to spend the evening and morning with zero kids! And we'd do it again.

Now, though, we are enjoying a blissfully quiet house. The little kids are next door at a birthday party, and Paul and L-man are having Sunday afternoon at the movies beside the wood stove. I'll spend a little time planning my next literature unit, which shouldn't take too long, and then do something lovely and restful too.
