At our house today

Biscuits were baked (not by me, silly! By my superstar mother-in-law, who came for the day)

Lots of wood was chopped and stacked, (by Paul and his dad, the other half of the superstar duo) in anticipation of frosty days ahead.

And four super-excited kids dressed up for Hallowe'en.

Here comes the cold weather, here comes the sugar. I hope I'm ready.

I should also mention here that one year ago today, we moved back into our home after a long renovation came to an end. I sure am glad we're on the other side!
