After returning home from Paul's high school reunion (those details belong to another post entirely), we spent the morning visiting with our brother and sister-in-law as the kids tore the house apart gleefully with their cousins. Eventally, after nibbling our way through the morning, we loaded up the van (an event which still takes a stunning amount of time) and headed off to Grandma and Grandpa's house. There was trampolining, pool time, and general running amok. Paul and I snuck out for a gorgeous bike ride - Niagara is beautiful, especially this time of year, and I actually kept up with him and arrived home still intact (legs were a bit wobbly, though). More family arrived, we feasted, visited, celebrated Grandpa's 75th birthday, stopped off to buy some fresh strawberries, and drove home up the QEW, with a big fiery orange sun setting in Lake Ontario. A great day.
